What is an exchange?

An exchange is an event where creators exchange fic/art! Creators sign up to create and receive a gift work from other creators.

How it works:
1. Participants will sign up to create and receive one Sk8-related fanwork.

2. Participants will be able to specify characters and/or pairings they wish to receive, as well as tropes they do not wish to receive works for.

3. Requests will be matched with creators based on these preferences.

4. Participants will have around 3 months to create and submit their gift - there will be 4 check-ins during this time to check in on your progress.

5. Gifts will then be posted on December 25.

Participants must be 13+ to be able to participate in the exchange.NSFW pieces are allowed only if the giftee is 18+ and makes a request for it.We do not require participants to have an Ao3 account.For writers, fics must meet the minimum word count requirement of 1,000 words.For artists: artwork must be at least a completed work of colored art, with an optional background.All gifts should be in English.Gifts are not allowed to glorify these topics: incest, adult x underage relationship, racism, lgbtphobia, etc. This means fics exploring struggles about lgbtphobia and racism are okay.This event will NOT exclude any characters, including Adam.Any ships that are not blatant underage x adult ships are allowed. A pairing that involves a canonly underaged character and a canonly adult character is allowed as long as they are both aged up in your gift.Participants should not discuss about their piece publicly until their posting date. Let's keep it a surprise for everyone!Check-ins will not require a certain percentage of progress since we understand that everyone works at a different pace. However, we expect a brief summary of what you will create for this exchange on first check-in to make sure your gift aligns with your giftee's wishes and does not include anything on your giftee's 'Do Not Want's.Please communicate with the mods as soon as possible if you feel like dropping out. This is to give more time for the pinch-hitter who will cover for you to create a work within a limited time.When gifts are posted, any NSFW or triggering content must be tagged accordingly.
